Gabrielle is home! It's been more than 24 hours since she left the NICU and slowly but surely we're getting the hang of this parenting thing. Gaby is settling in to her new surroundings although I think she misses some of the machine noises she's gotten so used to.
Gaby left the St. Vincent's in high style. My mother spent the last few weeks knitting like crazy to finish this adorable bunting for her. Everyone loved her little outfit!
It was emotional saying good bye to all of the people who've taken such good care of her for the past twelve weeks. We promised to come back and visit everyone soon. Here's the munchkin with her favorite nurses.
We're happy to report that Fiona is adjusting to having Gabrielle around. First she was curious:
And then she decided as long as she could cuddle with daddy too, all was good.
Notice Jan is on his iPhone doing work -- he's already a master multitasker!
Needless to say, we're loving every minute of having Gabrielle home, poopy diapers, sleepless nights and all!

I am so happy for you guys! It'll be just a short time and Alaina will be home to make the family complete. Then I want to see Jan holding both girls and working his devices! Love you guys!

It's soooo good to see Gaby at home. She looks more relaxed already! Nonna's bunting is beautiful and Gaby wears it well. Enjoy every 2 a.m. feeding, every diaper change and every little cry...it means she's healthy and happy. And you can practice on Gaby so you're all set for Alaina. Loads of love and kisses.
