What's New?

One of my new year's resolutions is to post to the blog more often so here we go. So far, 2009 has been a great year. Alaina is doing really well. She was having some trouble gaining weight before the new year so the doctors added rice cereal to her formula to help thicken it up so it would move more slowly through her digestive system. Not only does she love this new concoction but it's working -- she's gained three ounces in the last three days! If she keeps this up, Alaina will be up to full feeds very soon and that much closer to coming home.

Over Christmas, Nonna, Tex and Uncle Jason spent some quality time with Alaina. She was super excited to see them and spent the whole time entertaining everyone. Uncle Jason even taught her how to high five! I love this picture he took of Miss Alaina.

Gabrielle has been making strides of her own. On Friday, she grabbed a toy for the first time! Here she is pumping iron with her rattle.




All that exercise can wear a baby out!
